Like most young musicians in the 1960s in the Soviet Union, Shlomo Leiderman went underground to learn about and play American Jazz. His first love was Louis Armstrong and Dixieland Jazz, and from there expanded to jazz vanguard of mid 20th century. Later, as Music Director of the State Yiddish Theater of Israel in Tel Aviv, he composed and arranged for a number of productions that toured worldwide. During this time, Mr. Leiderman also founded and directed, Adom Atiq, an ensemble noted for its fusion of jazz, Jewish folk and original music. The band played for 17 years, touring Europe and the Americas, including a LA music festival Old Red Wine

My help is from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3. He will not allow your foot to falter; Your Guardian will not slumber. 4. Behold the Guardian of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The Lord is your Guardian; the Lord is your shadow; [He is] by your right hand. 6. By day, the sun will not smite you, nor will the moon at night. 7. The Lord will guard you from all evil; He will guard your soul. 8. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from now and to eternity.
